Terms and Conditions

Everyone who takes part in an event for the Pancreatic Cancer UK must agree to our terms and conditions. Please confirm you have read and agreed to these.

Conditions of entry

1. I understand that the event is not organised by Pancreatic Cancer UK, but by a third party (Event Organiser). It is my responsibility to read any terms and conditions issued by the Event Organisers and comply with these.

2. I understand that my details will be passed onto the event organisers, and that they may contact me about the event. 

3. We require a non-refundable registration fee of X to reserve your place. This is paid on completion of the online application form. 

4. By registering for this challenge, you are pledging to raise the minimum sponsorship of X (in addition to the registration fee). You must endeavour to raise as much as possible above this amount.

5. You must carry out your fundraising in accordance with the guidelines set out in the fundraising pack, which will be sent out to you following confirmation of your registration.

6.Should you, for whatever reason, not take up your place, all sponsor forms and sponsor money collected must be forwarded to Pancreatic Cancer UK or returned to sponsors if request and if this is possible. 

7. You will contact Pancreatic Cancer UK immediately if you need to withdraw from the event.
 
8. You agree to complete an online registration with the event organiser if needed and understand failure to do by the deadline may result in your place being lost.

9. Participants must be at least X years old by the event date.

10. By completing the registration you confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, your general state of health and fitness is good. You acknowledge that you are taking part in this event at your own risk.

11. You agree that Pancreatic Cancer UK and official third party providers may use without payment, notice or further consent any photographs, videos and other images in which you appear which are taken at an Event or Event-related occasion by our employees or suppliers or any participant or other person attending, in our brochure, website, social network marketing activities or any other relevant promotional material. Pancreatic Cancer UK will not, however, identify anyone by name without their agreement.  Should you prefer that Pancreatic Cancer UK do not use any such images in which you may appear which are taken at the Event or any Event-related occasion in any promotional materials or if you do not wish to be the subject of any photography, please notify us by calling on 0203 535 7090 or by emailing supportercare@pancreaticcancer.org.uk
